1-Some of our clients prefer to syringe in their mixing oils, pigments, or micas in the bag before dispersing into there tubes.

2-to allow for the gel to move within the bag during transit.

Product is measure by WEIGHT NOT by volume.  Some bags will look more or less fuller depending on the air bubbles in the base. (trapped oxygen).

The Versagel M series of patented-protected gels is based on gelling hydrocarbons in such a manner as to promote improved skin occlusivity and TEWL. The products enhance moisturization, have excellent suspension ability, have custom rheology or flow capability, and are thermally stable and easy to use.

Visually appealing, they are colorless, odorless and do not discolor with age. They are easier and safer to handle and formulate than gels that use metal stearates or fumed silica. They provide fragrance retention in skin care products and furnish waterproofing properties to sunscreen products. Furthermore, they are hydrophobic, thermally reversible and without syneresis (oil bleed).

Clinical studies with gelled mineral oil have shown that moisturization that is measured by TEWL improves 53% even though the gel contains > 90% mineral oil. The polymers are forming a film, preventing moisture loss.
